Fishing

Fishing season starts April 1st and ends October 31st.
You can purchase a fishing day pass at the bar.
Bring your own equipment or purchase bait, lines and rods at the bar.
Trout stocking for your group is available by reservation at least 15 days in advance. For more information, please contact Alain at 07 87 17 74 91.
The fishing area features several large picnic tables, ideal for groups of 10 to 35 people.
Fishing is prohibited in the Brotz Pond; you may fish in the Fredo Pond and the Judicael Pond, see the map below.

Fishing rules

Catch & release for all fish with the exception of trouts.
Anglers will return their fish to water in the best possible conditions and as quickly as possible, especially in hot weather.
Music is prohibited as well as excessive noise in order to maintain the tranquility of the place.
Make sure to clean after your group prior to departure including cigarette butts.
Drinks and foods not sold by the brewery are prohibited.
Swimming is prohibited on the entire site.
Use of bathrooms at the brewery is mandatory!

Trout fillets are extremely easy to prepare on the barbecue. Before you start preparing the fish, preheat the grill and then reduce temperature to around 120 degrees. Coat the trout with cooking oil and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Once seasoned, place trouts directly on the grill, skin side down. Trouts cook quickly and are ready when the meat is white, you can test with a fork.

Most small trout do not need to be turned over, if you have large fillets, be sure to flip them over on a piece of foil.
